I went with Loz Netto, a Coventry guitarist, who went on to play with Sniff n the Tears (he's on the video for Drivers Seat as lead guitar). When we cam out of the Lanch we queued behind Greg Lake and Carl palmer for a hot dog. Loz got talking to them and asked Greg what it was like playing in King Crimson with Bob Fripp. Carl came from Nuneaton and his brother played in local Coventry bands.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5492290540183328508.post-78679253927155035562022-04-29T19:51:28.867-07:002022-04-29T19:51:28.867-07:00Saw 'Emerson, Lake and Palmer' live in the...Saw 'Emerson, Lake and Palmer' live in the old Lanch. gym hall around 1969/70/71(?) but can't find any record of it at all, anywhere. I remember going to see many of the Arts Festival bands and ended up taking John Peel out to dinner and having him sign the Coloseum Valentine Suite album I had just bought after seeing them play it. “Peace, John Peel” - still have it. Don’t have the great pop art posters for each night - they didn’t make one of my moves - would be great to see them again if anyone has them.Graham Webbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01756598390304870614noreply@blogger.com
